55 - The Divine Encounter

Snuggled in my bed to nap
Alone and wistful
Thoughts begin to float
Drifting, dreaming

Fingertips stroke my cheek
Energy coursing through each cell
Flowing with celestial love

Struggling through layers of consciousness
Awakening with wonder…

God, was that you

Who filled me with such pure tranquility
If only for a lifetime

Forsaken no more

Write a story or poem with exactly 55 words
